Define three jobs before choosing a bundle

A small desk order often mixes three different jobs: capturing notes, writing on an existing form and keeping a completed document retrievable. Desk Sequence uses one A4 Rhodia pad, one black EnerGel pen and one Letter Smead folder as worked purchase records. This is an editorial scope choice for a broad office-supplies category, not a claim that the three products form a tested kit. The pad and folder intentionally expose a format question that a ready-made bundle can hide.

Write a format requirement first

For an office that receives US Letter forms, record Letter as the filing requirement even if an employee prefers an A4 pad for personal notes. Rhodia No18 is listed at 210 by 297 mm. Smead 10339 is a Letter folder. A pad can serve a note-taking role without its detached sheets becoming the office's standard filed document. If filing every note sheet is essential, establish the torn-sheet dimensions and usable folder interior before buying that combination. Those two measurements are not verified here.

Make the pen replaceable on purpose

The selected Pentel BL77-A is a black liquid-gel, retractable 0.7 mm metal-tip pen. The maker's LR7 refill page explicitly includes BL77 in its compatible model list. That is a useful procurement relationship: a future refill order can retain an exact family and ink-color code. It does not establish writing performance on every form, carbonless stock or coated sheet. Keep any workplace requirement for permanent marking or a specific approved pen separate from an ordinary office-supplies purchase.

Approve quantities by item rather than by bundle

One selected pad contains 80 sheets, one pen offer supplies a single pen and one selected folder box contains 100 folders. Buying one of each therefore creates three very different stocks. Ask the person responsible for documents to choose a target for each item; do not infer equal demand from the number of product lines. Use the whole-pack tool for each target, then check the seller's current price and delivery terms. No document contents, employee names or actual records need to be entered on this site.

A useful approval note

Consider a team that captures meeting notes on pads but files signed Letter forms. Its order can legitimately include the A4 pad and Letter folder because the two serve different streams. The approval note should say that explicitly, so a later buyer does not assume every pad sheet was approved for the folder. Put the pen and its future LR7-A refill reference on separate stock lines. If the task later changes to filing all original meeting notes, reopen the format question before repeating the order. That workflow change is more consequential than a small price change on the same three products.
