Start with the body model
The selected pen's manufacturer code is BL77-A. The BL77 portion identifies the reviewed body family and the A option is black in the selected US product record. Pentel's current US LR7 refill page explicitly lists BL77 among compatible EnerGel models. That is the basis of the finder result. It is a manufacturer relationship, not a physical insertion test by Desk Sequence, and it does not establish compatibility with every pen that looks similar.
Keep refill code and ink choice together
The selected black metal-tip refill is LR7-A, described as 0.7 mm. Other colors have different suffixes. A buyer maintaining black office stock should not accept an assorted-color pack simply because the family is LR7. Conversely, a different color may be an intentional choice if the exact refill family is supported. The cost of a replacement refill is not included in the selected three-product basket unless the buyer enters an actual offer for that separate item.
Do not erase the needle-tip distinction
LRN7 and LR7 are distinct codes, not alternative spellings created by a retailer's punctuation. A needle-tip option needs its own product description and model evidence.
