Select the current black offer
The current Pentel US product feed identifies the black EnerGel RTX option as BL77-A, variant 9065919938607, at $3.25 for one pen. A previous or differently indexed variant URL is not used as the current selection. The family page offers other ink colors, so its general title does not establish black ink by itself. Keep the selected ink color and code alongside the price when recording an order or comparing a future listing.
Read the mechanism and tip separately
This is a retractable liquid-gel pen with a 0.7 mm metal tip. The number describes the maker's tip designation; the site has not measured the width of a line on paper. The retractable body is a mechanism description, not a refill code. A similar silver barrel can contain a different ink color, and another pen with a 0.7 mm label can use a different refill geometry. Neither appearance nor tip size alone establishes a replacement match.
Retain the useful refill relationship
Pentel's US LR7 refill page explicitly includes BL77 in its compatible EnerGel model list. The black metal-tip refill is LR7-A. That documented relationship supports an exact reorder reference for the selected black pen. It does not make every gel refill universal across brands or establish that a needle-tip code is the same item. If a future listing omits the refill code, ask for it instead of trying to trim, modify or infer fit from a product photograph.
Leave writing performance to a suitable check
The maker describes quick-drying ink and a comfortable grip. Desk Sequence has not performed a timed drying, smear, writing-distance or grip-comfort test. A latex-free grip description is not a universal allergy-safety guarantee. For a form requiring a specified permanent or approved ink, check the organization's actual requirement and the product's supporting documentation. The selected ordinary office pen should not become an assumed archival, legal-document or medical-use standard merely because it is refillable.
Separate the current pen from future maintenance
The selected single-pen offer does not include an extra spare refill in the recorded quantity. A buyer may want to stock refills separately, but should confirm the refill selling pack and current offer before calculating that additional line. This distinction is useful for a small office: an employee needing a working pen requires the body and installed ink, while an existing matching body may need only a cartridge. The site does not predict which is economical over a year because writing volume, loss, maintenance and actual refill prices have not been measured for that office.
